About Cat Perry

I am dedicated to making decisions that will keep the Blowing Rock we all love while ensuring responsible growth as we go forward. My commitment stands in working diligently to understand the issues, consider all options, and listen to the citizens.

Since the first time she traveled to the High Country in 1972, Cat has had a great affinity for the area. When it was time to apply for colleges, there was only one for her…Appalachian State University. She has either lived in the area or been visiting for 50 years. It is a magical place where she feels centered and her spirit is fed. 

Cat wants to have a part in making decisions that will maintain the Blowing Rock we all love while ensuring responsible growth going forward. She wants future generations to be able to enjoy the beauty and charm that is our town, just as you do.

Her commitment is that she will work diligently to understand the issues, look at all options, and listen to the people who live here. Cat cares about Blowing Rock. She is passionate about serving the residents to work toward responsible growth for the future.
